As I
have had a variety of professional experiences in Social Work it is difficult to
identify only one school of thought. In my therapeutic process I maintain
the posture of a generalist practitioner. I utilize an eclectic approach
with a variety of therapeutic options. Although I generally adhere to this
idea, at times, I do tend to frequently utilize solution-focused or
cognitive-behavioral approaches.
Ultimately, I always meet the client where they are at. In the therapeutic
relationship, the client always drives the boat. The therapist is merely
the guide. I only have the ability to assist on issues that the client
identifies.
I am available to work with individuals, couples, groups and families.
Whichever the setting, the client always identifies the goals and assists in the
development of the plan to reach them. You can reach your goals. The
commitment is up to you. Call now to schedule your appointment.
