I am a Chicago native and studied Social Work
at Northeastern Illinois University and received a Masters Degree in
Social Work at George William's College of Aurora University.
I have extensive experience with group,
individual and family therapy. I have 19 years of experience working
with people struggling with substance abuse and working toward recovery from
addiction. I have worked with children, troubled teens and adults in a
variety of therapeutic situations.
I have extensive experience working in the
medical arena with several years in the hospital environment. As a
result, I have broad knowledge of crisis intervention and am fluent in
medical terminology.
I began my training in hypnosis with the
Chicago Hypnosis Institute in 1993. Then I integrated these skills in
my professional practice and in 2006 completed the training program at the
Leidecker Institute where I fulfilled the requirements for certification by
the National Guild of Hypnotists. I recently completed certification through the American School of Hypnosis and am now a
certified instructor teaching others these wonderful skills.
